FINISH YOUR PROJECT WITH QUALITY YOU CAN'T FIND ANYWHERE ELSE, ON TIME, AND UNDER BUDGET.
CSF has had an internal detailing department that it has maintained and supported since. Despite the fact that our processes have changed over time, our commitment to quality has not.
WHAT DOES THAT MEAN FOR YOU?
QUALITY ASSURANCE
All A.I.S.C., A.S.T.M., A.W.S., I.B.C., and other industry codes and specifications are kept up to date by our detailing staff. Joining the National Institute of Steel Detailers gives us access to more tools and training that guarantee that producing high-quality work is our main priority.
ON-TIME DELIVERY
Having detailers on staff guarantees a dedication to adhering to schedules and availability, which promotes on-time delivery. Over the years, our detailing department has expanded to include a sizable team of checkers and detailers who have all received the high-quality detailing training we demand.
BUDGET CONTROL
With a dedication to the most recent and effective applications of technology, CSF offers three-dimensional modeling for every project. This has improved control over project budgets and reduced errors and double-entry throughout our production process.
BUILDING INFORMATION MODELING
CSF workflow has included Building Information Modeling (BIM) since its inception.
Originally used to feed basic data to CNC machines, BIM has expanded to support estimating, project management, field operations, and our machinery and production control software.
Here’s what that means for you:
PRODUCTION BENEFITS
CNC data transfer for sawing, drilling, punching, and burning on beam, plate, and angle machines that is automated
Downloading data directly for fabrication management applications
Fully dimensioned models that can be used for quality control
ESTIMATING BENEFITS
Downloads of direct material data for steel estimating software
Improved clarity of intricate details and framing circumstances
The ability to import and use early design models for budgeting
JOBSITE BENEFITS
3D Steel sequencing and visualization of erection
Delivery lead time is shortened by efficient detailing.
COORDINATION AND MODEL SHARING BENEFITS
Complete 3D steel model accessible in CAD, Revit, and Navisworks file formats
Improved collision detection as a result of intricate steel connections
Models can be viewed online without the need for extra software.
CSF USES A COMBINATION OF IN-HOUSE DETAILERS AND OUTSIDE FIRMS.
All in-house detailing and most subcontracted firms utilize Tekla Structures for modeling. Our team also maintains licenses of Autodesk Revit Structures to aid in model transfers to and from outside sources.
CONNECTION DESIGN
CSF offers unrivaled engineering support from start to finish to guarantee the success of each project.
Every structural steel project needs connections, which is why we have one of the biggest and most skilled teams of licensed engineers in the nation.
Our in-house engineers have created all of the structural connection design software, and with our extensive technological know-how, we are able to create an infinite number of connection design options.
HERE’S HOW WE MAKE THE PROCESS AS SIMPLE AND VALUABLE AS POSSIBLE FOR YOU:
We are qualified in high-seismic, progressive collapse, and blast-resistant connection design in addition to common-braced frame, moment frame, and truss connections.
Early on in a project, we work with your design team to optimize design, fabrication, and erection costs, which results in lower costs and faster schedules.
Maintaining a successful project requires field construction support, and our team offers creative field solutions that avoid schedule delays and expensive re-fabrication.
MAXIMIZE THE VALUE OF YOUR PROJECT WITH ENGINEERING AND DETAILING SERVICES FROM CSF.
