CSF has had an internal detailing department that it has maintained and supported since. Despite the fact that our processes have changed over time, our commitment to quality has not.

All A.I.S.C., A.S.T.M., A.W.S., I.B.C., and other industry codes and specifications are kept up to date by our detailing staff. Joining the National Institute of Steel Detailers gives us access to more tools and training that guarantee that producing high-quality work is our main priority.

BUILDING INFORMATION
MODELING
CSF workflow has included Building Information Modeling (BIM) since its inception.
Originally used to feed basic data to CNC machines, BIM has expanded to support estimating, project management, field operations, and our machinery and production control software.

CSF USES A COMBINATION OF IN-HOUSE

FIRMS.
All in-house detailing and most subcontracted firms utilize Tekla Structures for modeling. Our team also maintains licenses of Autodesk Revit Structures to aid in model transfers to and from outside sources.

Our in-house engineers have created all of the structural connection design software, and with our extensive technological know-how, we are able to create an infinite number of connection design options.
